an innovative educational model for continuing education units

Clinical issues and problems encountered by gerontological professionals are complex and multi-faceted.  A multidisciplinary, in-depth discussion with colleagues from a wide range of service settings can enhance your skills and offer insights into your practice.

The goals for this discussion group are to stimulate you to consider your practice in new ways, to keep current with the latest professional literature and to create links between current literature and clinical practice.  Participants will be given articles to read prior to each monthly hour-and-a-half round-table which will provide the framework for the group discussion.

This group is a unique opportunity to reach beyond your agency for an interactive, structured and meaningful dialogue.  Learning from others and helping to develop a community of professionals in the field of aging will add a dimension to your practice.
